Looking through these dim dark eyes
The only thing I see
Is that the world is sinking deeper and deeper
into a flame-filled sea
And nothing we can do can turn this place around
So I turn to You and my knees hit the ground

When everything just clouds around me
It’s then I find my peace

Everything You are is everything to me
And everything You have is everything I need
And everytime I close my eyes Your face is all I see
So Lord, hold me in Your arms, and I will never leave

So many people say that we need love all across this land
Well I know the One that loves me, He has the scars on His hands
And I am so amazed that He came into this place
And that He gave His life to give me saving grace.
